One of the most crowded places I have been to is the Night Market in Taipei, Taiwan. I went there during a summer vacation a few years ago with my family.

The Night Market is a popular night market located in the Shilin district of Taipei, Taiwan. The market is known for its delicious street food, shopping, and carnival games. The market opens at around 5 PM and stays open until midnight.

When we arrived at the market, the streets were packed with people, and we had to weave our way through the crowd. The stalls and shops were all brightly lit, and the delicious smells of street food filled the air. We tried different types of street food, such as stinky tofu, fried chicken, and bubble tea. We also played games and bought some souvenirs from the shops.

I felt both excited and overwhelmed by the energy and buzz of the Night Market. Although the crowds were a bit overwhelming, it was an unforgettable experience to be in such a lively and vibrant place. I also appreciated the variety of food and shopping options available in one place.

Overall, the Night Market was an exciting and memorable experience, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who visits Taipei.

One of the most interesting animals that I have seen is a peacock. I saw it in a zoo near my hometown a few years ago. Peacocks are large and colorful birds that are known for their striking iridescent feathers. The one I saw had a beautiful blue and green tail with intricate patterns that seemed to shimmer in the sunlight.

I was fascinated by the peacock's behavior as it strutted around, showing off its feathers and making distinctive calls. It seemed so confident and proud, almost as if it knew how impressive it looked.

I felt a sense of awe and wonderment as I watched the peacock. Its beauty was truly captivating and I couldn't help but feel lucky to be able to see such a magnificent creature up close. I learned that peacocks are native to South Asia and are often considered a symbol of beauty and pride in Indian culture.

Overall, seeing a peacock was a memorable experience that I will never forget.

I'd be happy to talk about an event I went to that had good food.

Last year, I attended a friend's wedding reception which was held in a banquet hall in the city. The event was held to celebrate the union of my friend and his bride. The reception had a large number of guests, including family members, friends, and colleagues of the couple.

One of the things that stood out the most to me was the food that was served at the reception. The menu consisted of a variety of dishes, including both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Some of the dishes that I enjoyed the most were the chicken tikka, paneer butter masala, and biryani.

The chicken tikka was cooked to perfection and was served with a delicious mint chutney that complemented the flavors of the dish very well. The paneer butter masala was also very well prepared, with a creamy texture and a mild spicy flavor that was just right. The biryani, which is a rice-based dish, was fragrant and had a mix of vegetables and spices that made it very flavorful.

I really enjoyed the food at the wedding reception because it was prepared with care and tasted really good. It was obvious that the caterers had put in a lot of effort to ensure that the food was of high quality and that it would appeal to a wide range of people.

Overall, the event was a lot of fun and the food was definitely a highlight for me. I am glad that I got the chance to attend the wedding reception and enjoy the delicious food with my friends.

I had a friend who loves reading, I would like to buy them a book as a gift. Specifically, I would choose the book "The Alchemist" by Paulo Coelho. I would like to give this gift to my friend because I know they enjoy reading and this book is a timeless classic that can inspire and motivate them.

I chose this particular book because it has a powerful message about following one's dreams and the importance of perseverance. The story follows a young shepherd named Santiago who embarks on a journey to find his Personal Legend, which is the purpose of his life. Along the way, he meets various characters who guide him and teach him important life lessons.

I think my friend will enjoy this book because they are a thoughtful and introspective person who enjoys contemplating the deeper meanings of life. Additionally, they have mentioned in the past that they are interested in exploring different philosophical and spiritual perspectives.

Overall, I believe that "The Alchemist" would be a thoughtful and meaningful gift for my friend, and I hope that it would inspire them to continue pursuing their own dreams and passions.

Describe a story someone told you, and you remember. You should say:

  • what the story was about
  • who told you this story
  • why you remember it
  • and how you feel about it.

One story that I remember quite vividly is about my grandfather and his experiences during World War II. He was a young man at the time and served in the army. The story he told me was about a time when he and his fellow soldiers were on a long march through a forest. They were all tired and hungry, and morale was low. Suddenly, they heard the sound of a violin playing in the distance. As they got closer, they saw that it was a lone soldier sitting on a log playing his violin. My grandfather and his fellow soldiers gathered around him and listened to the music, which lifted their spirits and gave them a much-needed break from the grueling march.

My grandfather passed away many years ago, but I still remember this story vividly. It's a reminder to me of the power of music to bring people together and lift their spirits, even in the most difficult of circumstances. I feel grateful that he shared this story with me, as it gives me a deeper appreciation for the sacrifices he and others made during the war.

  • Who it was

One person who taught me how to do something was my grandfather. He taught me how to fish when I was a young boy.

My grandfather was an avid fisherman, and he loved to spend time on the lake catching fish. I used to watch him intently when he was fishing, and one day, he asked me if I wanted to learn how to fish. I was thrilled and immediately said yes.

He showed me how to tie a hook onto the fishing line, how to attach a bobber, and how to bait the hook. He also taught me how to cast the line and how to reel in a fish. He was very patient with me and always encouraged me to keep trying, even when I didn't catch anything.

I remember one day we were fishing on the lake, and I had been casting my line for what seemed like hours without any success. I was getting frustrated and ready to give up, but my grandfather kept urging me to keep trying. Finally, I felt a tug on my line, and I started to reel it in. It was a small fish, but I was so excited to have caught something. My grandfather was just as excited as I was and helped me take the fish off the hook.

Although I don't fish as much as I used to, I still remember the lessons my grandfather taught me, and I'm grateful for the time we spent together on the lake. Whenever I do go fishing, I always think of him and feel a sense of joy and peace.

Describe a rule that you do not like. You should say:

  • what it is
  • why you do not like it
  • how others feel about the rule
  • and explain whether you have followed the rule.

One rule that some people may not like is a dress code policy. Dress codes are often implemented in workplaces or schools to establish a standard of attire that is considered appropriate. For instance, some schools may require students to wear uniforms or limit the types of clothing that students can wear to class.

I believe some people do not like dress codes because they may feel like it restricts their freedom of expression or individuality. Some people feel that dress codes are unnecessary and do not contribute to a productive learning or working environment.

In terms of how others feel about the rule, it can vary. Some people may agree with the rule and believe that it is necessary to maintain a certain level of professionalism or appropriateness. Others may not agree with the rule and feel that it is too restrictive or unnecessary.

Talk about a memory you have from school. Include:

  • What happened
  • Why you remember
  • Who you told about it

One vivid memory I have from school happened when I was in fifth grade. Our class was tasked with organizing a food drive for a local charity organization. I remember being so excited to help out and contribute to a good cause.

We spent several weeks preparing for the food drive, making posters to hang up around the school and spreading the word to our friends and family. On the day of the food drive, we all brought in bags and boxes of non-perishable food items to donate.

What made this memory so special to me was seeing the incredible generosity and community spirit of my classmates and their families. Everyone had donated so much food that we filled an entire classroom from floor to ceiling with donations!

I remember feeling a sense of pride and accomplishment that we were able to make such a significant impact in our community, even though we were just kids. It was a powerful lesson in the importance of giving back and helping others in need.

I told my parents and siblings about the experience, and they were all so proud of me and my classmates for our hard work and dedication to the cause. It was a memory that stuck with me throughout the rest of my school years, and even now as an adult, it inspires me to look for opportunities to give back to my community.

The journey would take place in the summer months of July or August, as the weather would be perfect, and the views of the mountains would be at their best.

I would love to cycle through the winding roads of the mountains and enjoy the scenic beauty of the surrounding areas. We would stay at cozy lodges and hotels, and enjoy the local cuisine and culture. Cycling through the mountains would provide me with a sense of adventure, and I would be able to witness the beauty of nature up close.

The trip would be a perfect way to get some exercise, spend quality time with my loved ones, and create unforgettable memories. I would like to go by bicycle as it would allow me to travel at my own pace and truly appreciate the natural beauty of the mountains.

One incident that comes to mind is when my younger sister participated in a regional-level science exhibition and won the first prize.

My sister is very passionate about science, and she had been working on her project for several months. She had developed a unique way to purify water using natural materials, and she had put together an impressive presentation explaining the science behind her project.

When we went to the science exhibition, there were many other students who had put in a lot of effort into their projects, and we didn't know what to expect. However, when the results were announced, it was such a proud moment for our family to see my sister's name being called out for the first prize.

I felt incredibly proud of my sister because she had worked so hard on her project and put in a lot of effort to make it unique and innovative. It was clear that she was very passionate about science, and her hard work had paid off. Seeing her receive recognition for her efforts was an incredibly rewarding experience for our entire family, and I was proud to be her sister

Describe a puzzle you tried to solve. You should say

  • What it was like
  • How easy or difficult it was
  • How long it took for you to solve it
  • And explain how you felt about it.

One puzzle that comes to mind is the Rubik's cube. It is a three-dimensional combination puzzle that has become a classic brain teaser over the years. The cube consists of 6 faces, each made up of 9 smaller squares of a single color, and it can be twisted and turned in different directions.

When I first tried to solve the Rubik's cube, it was quite difficult for me. It took me a long time to figure out how the puzzle worked and what strategies I needed to use to solve it. I had to experiment with different algorithms and practice my spatial reasoning skills.

After several attempts, I finally managed to solve the Rubik's cube, and it felt like a great accomplishment. It was satisfying to see all the colors lined up on each face, and I felt like I had unlocked a new level of problem-solving skills.

Overall, I think puzzles like the Rubik's cube can be a fun and challenging way to exercise your brain and improve your problem-solving abilities. While they may be frustrating at times, the feeling of satisfaction you get when you finally solve them makes it all worth it.
